Satan's Tactical Maneuvers to Neutralize Christians

The state of our planet today finds many nations at war – kingdoms against kingdoms, nations against nations, people against people, all over and it's increasing. There all also many spiritual battles going on in the unseen realm; many fierce and severe, many concerning your soul. You see the enemy of our soul, Satan, is hard at work trying to disarm us Christians through any possible means – tactical, overt or covert –  at his disposal. He's been at it for thousand of years and his skills are honed and dangerous. And let me just say that he has a boatload full of tricks with deceit and deception his weapons of choice. Quite of few people claim their religious identity as 'Christian' these days but few practice it.  Most are [blind] sitting ducks for the ploys of Satan's crafty plots to destroy them; most have no idea that they are being attacked and thwarted by a foe that wants their soul. Physical attacks and spiritual attacks come against those who try to live a Christian life and stand for Christ's definition of righteous living. But too many of us give place to the Devil in the lifestyles we live and through the books, TV, movies, and music we listen to, we invite him in to tempt, suggest, and trick us through our mind to succumb to his tricks..

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" -1 Pet 5:8 (KJV)

Spiritual warfare is occurring right now all around us but very few realize this is a very present reality in their lives. Several are strung out on prescription drugs that really don't seem to address the matter or make them too melancholy or numbed to care. Many suffer from fear, worry, guilt, doubt and massive doses of anxiety and panic attacks. Folks, these are examples of the fiery darts the enemy uses to deceive, destroy and maim us. His overwhelming strategy is to spiritually catch us offguard and then push us over and take away our trust and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He seeks to blind us to the truth and then attacks and subsequently disarms us leaving us helpless and turning to the world's way of solving our problems. And these – drugs, hate, unbelief, crime – seldom work. But Satan's lies would have us think otherwise though. His deception is poisonous, his weapons are tactical, his cunning like a fox and he is as sneaky as a serpent. His methods are full of hate, wickedness, despair, discouragement and pain. He is in spiritual camo gear and most people don't see him lurking for their soul. He cares not one iota for you and only seeks to destroy you in turn snatching you away from Almighty God only to be cast and into his future destination of flaming torment for eternity. 

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:" -John 10:10a (KJV)

If you are a Christian then you have power and authority over his wiles and schemes – Luke 10:19. But who remembers this and uses their spiritual authority in Christ to defeat the enemy today? Who claims the promises in God's word and wields a great and powerful sword against Satan's minions to come against them in power and might? Few, I suspect. Many have been lulled to sleep and rely on their stuff in the world to sustain them and/or comfort them. For the most part Christians have been disarmed – they have had their spiritual weapons made available to us by the Lord, ripped from their sheaths and pummeled into ineffective clumps of molten metal. Spiritual power and authority in Christ is absent in most Christian churches for the leaders do not teach it. Why? Most pulpit preachers are scared of approaching the topic of spiritual warfare and our authority to come against these wicked spiritual forces in high places. Hence many 'Christians' are weak and sickly not able to even 'rise from their mats'. Friends, yes, this is scary – the unseen spiritual warfare going on for your soul – but oh so real and true. We need to know about so we can use the full armor of God to defeat it (Eph 6:). Don't be caught in fleeing but fight back using your spiritual weapons in the Lord – prayer, fasting, reading and speaking His word, proclaiming His truth. Make you name known in the enemies camp like the Apostle Paul did – Acts 19:15.

"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices." -2 Cor 2:11 (KJV)

Folks, it's time to take back your position as a Christian and stand up and let the minions of hell know you mean business. You are a child of the living God and are powerful, strong and mighty in His name! You are tough and you must fight back: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Eph 6:12 KJV). It's time to be Rock Solid in Christ! Put your full armor on and push back against these wicked forces of darkness. Rise up and be strong and courageous in the Lord – for He is with you. Remember, He purchased your freedom through His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary and you if you confess, believe and live in Him, will receive an inheritance with Him forever, in His kingdom. His blood paid the price but it's up to you to claim it and walk in it. Read God's word and pray daily – He will sustain you and you will be victorious in Him. Believe!

 

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; " -Eph 6:13-18 (KJV)
