Bible Prophecy Commentary: Hills Melting – Is God Speaking to Us?
"The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth." -Psa 97:5 (KJV)
"The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him." -Nah 1:5-6 (KJV)
"For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place." -Micah 1:3-4 (KJV)

I fully believe that Almighty God is trying to get our attention through calamities (Amos 3:6) occurring on the earth – floods, volcanoes, earthquakes, extreme weather, etc. Why? He is waiting as long as He can for people to turn from their wicked ways, confess their sins, call upon His name and repent of their iniquities. You can believe this or not but if you read and study the Bible you will know and understand our Savior and what He has done in the past to get peoples attention and to expose their sin. Then, if the people failed to sincerely repent and make a u-turn in their lifestyles returning to Him, you will discover what He has done in bringing His hand of judgment upon nations and mankind.
Folks, this is very real and all people – believers and unbelievers – should heed His warnings – His signs and wonders now very visible on this planet. To date, His hand still remains outstretched to all who will call upon His name but soon the door will be shut (as it was in Noah's day) and then the judgments will begin – Rev 6-19.
So with all this being said, where are you at today? If you were called into eternity today, would you stand before Him saved by the blood and redeeming power of Jesus Christ or would you be ushered to the gates of Sheol – the waiting room of 'hell' – waiting for the final judgment and your sentence after the Millennium? Sobering questions but very appropriate and for right now.
