Where's God – Will He be There – Is He On The Agenda?

Several faiths and leaders will unite to lead Trump's big event in a few days. This will be a monumental even for America and the world. Lot's of people looking on, tons of security planning, a plethora of reporters, cameras, TVs, and leaders from around the world heralding in America's 45th president. Glamor, glitter, fanfare, applause, all kinds of world attention but will the God of the Universe, the God of all creation, the God who installs kings and removes kings be openly announced to be invited, to be present, to be involved in this historic inauguration?
Let's examine the faiths that will attend and play a huge role in ushering in this new president. First, the leader of the national prayer will be from the Word of Faith movement (a heretical movement – accursed), then there are the prosperity preachers pedaling a heretic false Gospel that millions flock after, then there those from a huge religion that openly and outwardly practices idol worship of infallible men and finally there is a well-known evangelist (Franklin Graham) that I can't believe is uniting with the rest but nevertheless is there. Even relating that God has blessed and has put His hand on Trump being elected.
Oh my! Folks, please examine the facts of what is about to transpire. We have leaders of false Gospels (save one-Mr Graham) that will lead this nation in prayer to false gods. And this will be our nations clarion call into the next four years? Unbelievable! God is very adamant and emphatic about what He has said about those who preach a false Gospel. Read on…
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed." -Gal 1:8-9 (ESV)
Yet these are the people that have been appointed by the new president to present this nation to the world. Yikes!
We must understand what is clearly going down here. First, Almighty God was nowhere to be found in this candidates platform – not spoken of in front of millions of TV viewers during the debates. Not in the planning of his new administration or in his first 100 days objectives. Nowhere, notta, zip … crickets!
And now we have America's well-known religious leaders uniting together under the banner of false Gospels to chart the course for our nation. Are you serious? Really?
If you have maintained that this mere man – Mr. Trump – will lead this nation back to greatness without God being verbally in focus you are being led down a fairy-tale road of some kind.
This nation, more than ever, needs a Godly man with real Godly assistants and advisors and with Almighty God clearly at the helm. God must be in the forefront. God must be in the rhetoric, God must be in the planning. God must be in national speeches and events. Not in the back seat or in the trunk! Repentance must be the order of the day. If not, we will not be great again. Oh, yeah, we may see some good times, you know bringing back jobs, stock market off the charts, increasing prosperity, etc. But it's all eye wash for the time in which we live.
Trump has surrounded himself with rich people thinking, as I've heard said, that through their wealth God has stamped His approval on them. Really? Does anyone read the Bible anymore?
Folks, it's time to get right with God, pray and seek Him. Look what Zephaniah said when he knew the Lord's judgment on their wickedness and rebelliousness was near:
"Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger." -Zep 1:3 (KJV)
"Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city! She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the Lord; she drew not near to her God. Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow." -Zep 3:1-3 (KJV)
Is America to be exempt from the fury of the Lord? We continue to murder our children, exploit children, and "move the boundary" stones of those traditions (marriage), statutes, and precepts the Lord has set forth in His word. We are in serious trouble and unless this nation turns back to God in the sincere confessing of our sin and in dead-serious repentance from the top leaders down, we will feel the crushing blow of God's judgment. He has stated this numerous times in His word for those nations that are continually unfaithful to Him.
Read your Bible and get to know just who God is. Don't be just a Sunday viewer and armchair theologian. Read for yourself every day, pray and seek the Lord. Ask Him for guidance in wisdom, knowledge and understanding of His word and just who He is. But do this sincerely or do it not at all; you see He knows our hearts. Be real before Him!
Give God the Glory not man!
"Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
