Bible Prophecy Commentary: What Shall We See Next?
I don’t think people (including most Christians) realize the significance of these two historic proclamations concerning Jerusalem that took place yesterday (Dec 6, 2017). They were huge; and we will have to wait to see what events these dictates put in motion. Why?
For the Lord God Almighty has put His name on Jerusalem and this is His land and what He says and feels about it is extremely important. This is the only place on earth where He has established His name to be there forever. It’s time for all of us to pay attention!
“For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.” -2 Chron 7:16 (NASB)
Proclaiming Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the US embassy to Jerusalem has never happened before in history. Trump’s declarations were very good especially for Israel but my fears are what will be the fallout in the days ahead? The Palestinian/Arab/Muslim pot is being stirred up all over. Turkey and Europe are upset. Even the Pope has great concerns about this. But what will it bring?
Could it be that the White House (WH) plan is to leverage this to create a “two-state” solution to the peace plan between Israel and the PA? I think this could very well be the plan; sending a clear message to Abbas and company that the US is not messing around and they better fall in line with what we dictate or else. Folks, this is not exactly good since there will be no peace over there until the Lord returns. The ancient feud between the sons of Esau (Arabs) and Jacob (Israel) will continue and nothing will bring about any peace. This is Biblical and we cannot afford to overlook its importance.
So the face remains that the US’ plan is to divide Jerusalem and friends God will not like this. Reading the scripture below will tell what He will do to those nations that try and divide the land … cut them in pieces. We seen time and time again that when the US has tried to force Israel to give up land for peace, the US experiences a severe calamity 24-48 hrs later (i.e. 2005 and Katrina). This looks good on the outside but how does Almighty God see it, as this is what counts. Read the Bible and know the truth.
We now, IMO, are on an accelerated train into uncharted territory and folks, it may not go so well. But again, I say, time will tell.
Keep alert, keep in the know about current events that surround Israel for Israel is the center of the earth – Eze 5:5. And if you want to know where we are at in Bible Prophecy and the return of the Lord, watch what happens in and around Israel/Jerusalem. The nations are gathering and great tension is now even more pronounced in the air. Yet we know
