Bible Prophecy Commentary:

Reading Isa 24, we see what may transpire in these last days. The earth dries up and withers, the earth is defiled by its people, joy is departing and more disheartening melancholy is proclaimed mainly due to the guilt and load of sin in mankind’s rebellion towards the Lord God Yahweh. Here in Isa 24, it says the floodgates of heaven are opened and the foundations of the earth shake. It also states the earth is broken up and split apart and is violently shaken. The abominable sin in America is growing almost without restraint. I believe we have gone too far in unrepentant sin both as a nation and individually. Read Jer 18:11-23 for what may be in store for America and how God may view this nation.

We have seen the droughts and we are seeing huge sinkholes appear in many places throughout the earth. People everywhere do not want to acknowledge Almighty God as the Creator and ultimate judge of the earth. They do not want to call upon the name of His Son Jesus Christ. People, even some so-called ‘Christians’, fail to seek Him and rebel or disobey what He has clearly told us in His word. People fail to confess their of sin, lack any mourning for their sin (Godly sorrow) and don’t make a u-turn in their attitudes or actions – this being call repentance – 2 Cor 7:10, Deut 10:16. Without these, we are in rebellion and disobedience against God, and therefore do not acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior. Consequently, we love the world and are called His enemies – James 4:4. We therefore stand condemned – John 3:18. Has Almighty God had enough of our rejection, rebellion, disobedience and sin? Stay tuned…

Are we on the final track for the start of God’s judgments including a massive shaking of the earth? You have to admit that mankind in its actions and deeds has reached the point of angering God probably several times over. Isa 13:13, Hag 2:6

The men who have done the most for God in this world have been early on their knees. He who fritters away the early morning, its opportunity and freshness, in other pursuits than seeking God will make poor headway seeking Him the rest of the day. If God is not first in our thoughts and efforts in the morning, He will be in the last place the remainder of the day.” – E. M. Bounds
